Schedule 1 Just Got Much-Needed Fixes With New Beta Update
The overnight Steam hit, Schedule 1, just got some much-needed fixes and gameplay improvements with a new beta update. While this new update is currently in beta and not applied to the fully released game, it's aiming to address a lot of player concerns about bugs, glitches, and also add some quality-of-life improvements.
Patch v0.3.4f5 was released in beta on April 15, and it addresses common bugs, like Mick (the Pawn Shop owner) not appearing when he was supposed to, as well as adjustments to NPC effects and how some mechanics work in the game. The patch is expected to release out of beta and into the full game later this week, according to solo developer, Tyler. Full patch notes can be found on Reddit thanks to Schedule 1 moderator, HBizzle24. The patch does not contain any new content for the game, unlike the previous Schedule 1 April update.
Everything Fixed In Schedule 1's New Beta Update
Some Bug Fixes And Some Really Nice Quality-Of-Life Improvements
This patch is bug-fix oriented, so there aren't a ton of major changes, but probably the biggest one is being able to access the inventory of players' employees with a new dialogue option. There are also some changes to the way chemists and botanists work, and also some new graffiti art. The full patch notes are listed below, divided between Tweaks/Improvements and Bug Fixes:
Tweaks/Improvements | Bug Fixes |
---|---|
You can now access the inventory of your employees by talking to them and selecting “I need to access your inventory.” | Fixed chemists sometimes causing cauldrons to become unusable. |
Added some new graffiti art. | Fixed botanists sometimes causing drying racks to become unusable. |
Fixed NPC summoning not working on Mick’s house. | |
Fixed some issues in Mick’s schedule that may have caused him to not appear at the pawn shop. |
Players can access the Schedule 1 beta and get updates early by changing the properties of the game in the Steam Library to try these updates for themselves.
Schedule 1 Continues To Deliver
Consistently Fast Updates For An Overnight Hit
Schedule 1 has seen fast updates since the game's release back in March, and it seems like fans can't get enough of it, with the game temporarily seeing concurrent player counts on Steam higher than mega-games like Monster Hunter Wilds and GTA 5. The game has also seen a pretty extensive mod scene, for a title that's not even a month old. With updates coming as fast as they are, and bigger content updates also planned, Schedule 1 fans might have a title to come back to for a very long time.

All Properties In Schedule 1
In Schedule 1, you’ll need a lot of space to keep expanding your operations. To help with that, you can purchase properties from Ray’s Real Estate.
While this patch doesn't include any new content, the changes to chemist and botanist cauldrons, as well as fixing issues with Mick not appearing correctly, Schedule 1 seems to be in the best place it has been since release. The game appears to be on the right track to keep players satisfied with the current game and future content.
