Seven Games Are Leaving Xbox Game Pass This February, Including One Major Title
Microsoft officially announced the titles leaving Xbox Game Pass in February, as part of their usual rotation of games. Seven titles will be departing the service on February 15, so gamers have less than two weeks to try out the titles.
The titles leaving Xbox Game Pass in February are a blend of obscure indie puzzle games, and RPGs, as well as a popular EA Sports franchise title, underscoring the wide array of experiences available through Microsoft's consistently evolving library of games.

Among The Games Is A Spiritual Successor To Castlevania
As scheduled for removal on February 15, 2025, the following games will all be leaving Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass libraries: A Little to the Left, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, EA Sports UFC 3, Indivisible, Merge & Blade, Return to Grace, and Tales of Arise. As identified by True Achievements, many of these games require at least tens of hours to complete, so Game Pass players will have to devote some time to trying out these titles before their departure in less than two weeks.
The most notable of these games is the controversial EA Sports UFC 3, which was released in 2018 to a decent Metacritic score of 75 among critics. However, its removal is necessary as the servers for UFC 3 will be closing on February 17 this year, along with several discontinued EA games. Fans of the combat sports franchise can still play UFC 4 and UFC 5on Xbox Game Pass through EA Play though. Castlevania enthusiasts should try out Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night before its departure, as its excellent RPG platforming has been acclaimed with an 83 Metacritic score.
Our Take: Despite The Losses, February Is Already Looking Great for Xbox Game Pass
A Huge Ubisoft Game and An Anticipated Day One Release
While the departure of these seven games will disappoint some subscribers, players will have access to two huge games on Xbox Game Pass in February. Far Cry New Dawn will arrive on Microsoft's service on February 4, and while it isn't the best of Ubisoft's FPS franchise, it features some fun gameplay and a great reimagination of Far Cry 5's setting; Hope County. The expansive open-world gameplay takes on a post-apocalyptic spin, which will remind fans of when Far Cry 3 received the hilarious spin-off Blood Dragonin 2013.
The biggest title to be added to Xbox Game Pass in February is Avowed, which will launch as a Day One game for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. The latest RPG from industry veterans Obsidian Entertainment has been compared to games like Skyrim, and will be set in the same universe as 2015's Pillars of Eternity. Avowed is hugely anticipated due to Obsidian's record of crafting outstanding RPG experiences like Fallout: New Vegas and The Outer Worlds. Avowed will arrive on Xbox Game Pass on February 18, shortly after the seven games depart the service.
