Sister Wives: Christine Brown’s Major Money Move With David Woolley Could Really Hurt Their Relationship)

Sister Wivesstar Christine Brown is making a major money move with her husband David Woolley, but their expensive renovation property could reveal a side of Christine that ultimately hurts their relationship. While Christine and David’s time on Sister Wives season 19 has been more about viewers getting to know David and their relationship as a whole, fans have had a tough time seeing them in a lasting light. While Sister Wives viewers openly want Christine to be happy, her relationship with David moved incredibly quickly after her split from Kody Brown, who she was married to for 30 years.

Throughout Sister Wives season 18, Christine was focused on rebuilding her life after her split from Kody, doing everything she could to establish her independence away from Kody, Robyn Brown, and the rest of the family in Flagstaff. After relocating to Salt Lake City, Christine made it clear that she was going to do what she could for herself and her family. After meeting David, Christine fell quickly and hard for the father and grandfather. David, a contractor, was exactly who Christine was looking for, and within a year they were married, even with some pushback from their respective families.

Christine & David’s Judgment Has Been Called Into Question

They’ve Been Called Out For Their Decisions

Although Christine and David’s relationship has been called into question more frequently by their families and Sister Wives viewers, their decision-making has also proven to be something people don’t trust. Christine, who sold her portion of Kody’s compound Coyote Pass to the family patriarch before their split, has spent the last few years of her life reorganizing herself and her family. While doing so, she met and fell in love with David, but their relationship hasn't inspired trust in her ability to be mindful and careful about her choices. While Christine's relationship with David is sweet, it moved too fast.

Christine's children and the most of the Brown family were floored when they noticed how quickly the pair moved through their courtship phase. Getting engaged after just a few months was something that several of her children criticized on the show, and though they're showing solidarity with Christine and David because they want her to be happy, it's clear they don't get where she's coming from. Christine and David's decisions seem fast and impulsive, which isn't necessarily negative, but may not be the best idea for a long-term project.

Their justification for their actions hasn't been completely sound or rational.

Christine Has Admitted To Being Controlling In Her Marriage

She Likes Being The Boss

While Christine and David’s decision-making has been called into question, there have also been some issues surrounding the way she behaves in her new marriage. Though Christine has been open about the fact that she’s happier now than ever before, she’s also been sharing that she’s behaving differently than she did in her past relationship with David. Christine’s always been more independent than Kody’s other wives, but her independent spirit has been a major part of her life with David. Throughout her second marriage, she’s been open that she knows what she wants and isn’t interested in settling for less.

Although Christine’s nature is more typically about finding what she wants in her relationship, she’s been coming off a bit more controlling than she appears to realize in recent episodes of Sister Wives. Sharing that she likes to be the boss, Christine has been doing a lot more for the renovation project with David than she’s been sharing with her new husband. As David is a contractor by trade, seeing Christine take on the majority of the responsibilities as she moves through finding the property, purchasing it, and beginning to outfit it with necessary items, her controlling nature is difficult.

Christine & David’s New Rental Property Is A Risk

As Christine and David have been moving through the renovation property, it’s been clear that they’re taking a major risk putting so much into the project. The pair have been doing a lot of the renovations on their own, but dumping a lot of money into a rental property without ever having done so before is a risk in itself. On top of taking the risk of purchasing and renovating the property, Christine and David don’t know if their rental will be successful once its finished. Instead, the couple are hoping for the best when it comes to their property.

Throughout the season and on their social media accounts, Christine and David have been open about the fact that they’re investing a lot into the property, and not just financially. On top of the money, Christine and David have been investing their emotions into this renovation. Making it clear that David is finding a whole new side of his wife throughout the process, Christine has been more controlling and overwhelming than she’s been in any part of their relationship yet.

Christine has been trying to keep her cool, but it’s clear David is learning more about his new wife than he expected.

Christine & David’s Tension Could Break Their Relationship Down

There’s No Room For Communication

Although Christine and David have been doing their best to keep themselves together, it’s clear there are some cracks in the foundation of their relationship that weren’t there before the renovation. Christine’s controlling nature came out in a way that even Sister Wives viewers hadn’t seen before, changing the way the couple were able to interact. With Christine trying to take over in every way, it’s become clear that David has had to take a more hands-off to the project they were working on together, originally. Even without major changes to the game plan, Christine and David have been struggling.

Although Christine’s controlling nature has been tough, it hasn’t been the only issue that the couple has been facing in bringing their rental property to life. The couple, whose judgment has been called into question in the past, have been spending a major amount on this renovation without any genuine idea of whether there will be a return on investment. With Christine’s behavior impacting them and financial stress causing tension to build, it seems like there could be issues impacting the Sister Wives stars in the future. While the couple are hopeful things will be okay, Christine & David could suffer.
