Lack of rain means there are fewer blooms than last year's impressive show, but there are still places to catch the spring color.

Last year’s Southern California superblooms would have been hard to follow anyway, but last winter’s dry weather has translated into a disappointing wildflower show this spring. Still, some areas are still alive with poppies, lupine, and popcorn flowers, such as Colorado Lagoon and Diamond Valley Lake.
