Soon: RNT Medical College to launch new Govt IVF centre

Udaipur: A new In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) centre is on the brink of opening at the super speciality wing of the government-operated Rabindranath Tagore Medical College (RNT) Medical College in Udaipur.

This upcoming facility, pending final approval following successful inspections, is set to become the third government-run IVF centre in Rajasthan, providing essential fertility treatments to couples who find private healthcare options financially straining.

In Vitro Fertilisation is a process of fertilization where an egg is combined with sperm in vitro. The process involves monitoring and stimulating a woman's ovulatory process, removing an ovum or ova from their ovaries, and letting a man's sperm fertilize them in a culture medium in a laboratory.

RNT Medical College and its associated Maharana Bhupal (MB) Hospital are pivotal healthcare institutions in the Udaipur region, providing comprehensive medical services to the community. The addition of an IVF centre further strengthens their role as key providers of advanced medical care.

Awaiting Final Approvals

The IVF centre is currently awaiting the final nod from the health authorities, having successfully cleared all preliminary inspections. Once operational, it will join the ranks of other government IVF centres in Rajasthan, enhancing the state's healthcare infrastructure and providing a much-needed service to couples seeking fertility treatments.
