Telluride Ski Resort will join Vail Resorts’s Epic Pass starting next winter, officials announced this week. becoming one of 45 other ski areas including Vail, Breckenridge, and Arapahoe Basin. Alterra Mountain Co. recently introduced a competing pass, the Ikon Pass, which covers 23 destinations, such as Aspen Snowmass, Copper Mountain, and Steamboat.
