As this video makes clear, Anakin's appearance in Ahsoka was absolutely thrilling for a host of reasons. For one, it marked another return from Hayden Christensen, following his return in Obi-Wan Kenobi. This was also the first on-screen appearance of live-action young Ahsoka, played by Ariana Greenblatt, who portrayed the beloved character flawlessly. This casting choice also solidified how tragically young Ahsoka really was during these events, which is easy to lose sight of in animation.
Of course, there were also a number of simply stunning moments even outside the nostalgia. One viewer's comment in the video, "That was a cheap move, Anakin," was in reference to Anakin slashing through the path in the World Between Worlds, sending Ahsoka flying. Thus far, it hadn't been known that such a thing was possible (although it makes perfect sense that Anakin would be the one to break this rule). It's also simply cool to see Anakin flash between Clone Wars era Anakin and Darth Vader, symbolizing the pull between his two selves.

As a massive fan of Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano, it's difficult for me to articulate how much this one episode of the Ahsoka show meant. Getting to see Hayden Christensen finally don the Clone Wars armor was incredible, as many in the TikTok video also voiced. Seeing Christensen interacting with not only Rosario Dawson's older Ahsoka but also Greenblatt's young Ahsoka was profound as well, because it connected Christensen to Star Wars: The Clone Wars in an entirely new way.
With how much excitement there clearly was around Anakin's return in Ahsoka, hopes are high that Christensen will have another return in Ahsoka season 2. The show has already revealed how this could be done, given Anakin appeared as a Force ghost on Peridea with Ahsoka at the end of season 1.
