The Bachelor: Alexe Godin Could Be The Best Match For Grant Ellis (They Have An Obvious Connection & Great Chemistry)
While several of the competitors on Grant Ellis’ season of The Bachelor could be a good fit for the lead, Alexe Godin may be his best match. Grant was greeted by 25 women, all eagerly waiting to win for his heart. This season has been memorable as Grant was the first lead announced before applications opened. Subsequently, all the women in the competition had a genuine interest in Grant. Their immediate interest and the show’s competitive nature have fostered a highly volatile environment.
Unlike some of her counterparts, the pediatric speech therapist has remained on The Bachelor season 29 without engaging in drama. As fights break out and tensions skyrocket, Alexe has maintained the lead’s interest through an authentic connection. Alexe’s bubbly personality and humor have complimented Grant’s more grounded nature. Although she has not dominated the show’s screen time, the small-town girl will undoubtedly make it to the final few.
Grant Liked Alexe’s Entrance
Grant Remembered Alexe
Alexe turned heads when she entered the mansion. The therapist, having grown up on a farm, arrived with her favorite animal: a llama named “Linda.” Alexe affectionately referred to Linda as her “no-drama llama”and has been perfectly executing this motto.
When Alexe had the opportunity to talk privately with Grant, he jokingly questioned where the llama had gone. She asked for his opinion of Linda, and Grant assured her that not only did he love the llama, but Alexe stood out to him. Their chemistry was tangible. Alexe's excitable nature and Grant’s laid-back demeanor perfectly balance one another.
Grant enjoyed her entrance, and Alexe was awarded the first impression rose.
In true Bachelor fashion, there was a twist. Alexe's first impression rose was paired with the coveted first one-on-one date. The lovebirds then shared one of the most fun dates in the franchise’s history.
Alexe & Grant’s Date Went Well
They Complement Each Other
Alexe and Grant had seemingly unlimited access to a mall. The pair jumped on animal scooters, created massive desserts, shopped, and drank champagne. This date allowed the pair to indulge their childlike desires in a safe and inviting space.
Grant and Alexe couldn’t hide their pure joy.
The couple were elated by the opportunity and quickly discovered their compatibility. Alexe brings out Grant's reserved side. Her bright, fierce energy encouraged the star to let loose. He was clearly entertained and emboldened by her shameless enjoyment of the amenities.
Grant’s talents and adoration for Alexe were particularly evident in one scene. When they were presented with a grand piano, Grant began to serenade Alexe. Her face lit up with excitement, and Alexe delivered the line, “I’m not used to dating emotion guys … and I’m having the best time of my life.” At that moment, Grant’s mind seemed made up. While he undoubtedly harbors feelings for the other contestants, no other woman has elicited the same emotion from the lead.
Alexe and Grant are a match made in heaven. Grant has been adamantly searching for a wife and mother for his kids, and Alexe is everything he could want. She is kind, intelligent, funny, and unapologetic. She has not relied on the defamation of other women to get the upper hand. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for other contestants.
Alexe Is Staying Out Of Drama
Alexe Only Cares About Her Time With Grant
While some of the women have been stirring up drama during Grant's season, Alexe has avoided the toxicity. Contestant Zoe McGrady has created enemies by interrupting other women’s time with him. Carolina Sofia was scrutinized for overstepping boundaries when she straddled and kissed Grant on stage. Juliana Pasquarosa has received backlash for her seemingly unnecessary confrontation with Carolina after Carolina implied that 6–9 weeks is not long enough to know a partner. All the while, Alexe has flown under the radar.
Avoiding the spotlight is not necessarily a bad thing, especially when it’s showcasing bad behavior.
Alexe’s avoidance of the drama speaks volumes to her character. She entered the competition with one goal: to earn Grant’s heart. She understands that toxicity is not a requirement to win. Fans of The Bachelor can expect Alexe to remain in the competition in subsequent weeks. She understands that her personal connection with Grant is more than enough to keep him coming back.
The Bachelor airs on Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
