The Golden Bachelorette star Joan Vassos talked about whether The Golden Bachelor'sGerry Turner wanted to resume their relationship after his divorce from Theresa Nist. Joan left Gerry's season early to respond to a family emergency. A year later, she got engaged to Chock Chapple at the end of The Golden Bachelorette season 1. Although Joan and Chock's long-distance relationship has been seen as a sign that they might break up soon, they're searching for a place in New York City together. As for Gerry, he recently revealed that he's been diagnosed with an incurable form of bone marrow cancer.
When asked if Gerry wanted to get back together with her after his divorce from Theresa, Joan gave a very blunt response.
On the Two Jersey Js podcast, Joan shared that she "had a connection" with Gerry during The Golden Bachelor, but they now have a "really good friendship." She explained, "We are really good friends still. We stay in touch." When asked if Gerry wanted to get back together with her after his divorce from Theresa, Joan answered, "I'm not gonna comment."

She probably wants to keep silent about it out of respect for everyone involved, especially her friends Gerry and Theresa, and her new fiancé, Chock. It's admirable that Joan isn't revealing any details about what Gerry might've said to her.
When Joan returned for Gerry's Golden Bachelor "Women Tell All" episode, she admitted that, after she left the show, she hoped that she'd come home to find that he'd followed her. She even tried to return to the show, but it didn't work out. However, Joan and Gerry stayed in touch and became great friends. Gerry later appeared on The Golden Bachelorette to give Joan advice about her journey. It seems that they got the closure they needed after their Golden Bachelor breakup in order to move forward with their friendship.
