The Masked Singer Season 13 Officially Introduces Two More New Characters After The First Five Were Revealed (SPOILERS)

THIS ARTICLE CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS ABOUT THE MASKED SINGER SEASON 13!The Masked Singer season 13 has officially introduced two more characters who'll be competing in the latest installment of the mystery celebrity singing competition series, after it already revealed the first five contestants of the season. The Masked Singer season 13 welcomes back host Nick Cannon, along with panelists Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, and Rita Ora. So far, five contestants have been introduced, including Ant, Paparazzo, Coral, Honey Pot, and Fuzzy Peas.

Now The Wraphas revealed that the newest Masked Singer season 13 contestants to be officially announced are Cherry Blossom and Space Ranger. Fans caught glimpses of both characters in the Masked Singer season 13 preview (shared via YouTube), but their names weren't known. In addition, Space Ranger appears in the key art for season 13.

Cherry Blossom wears a light pink dress decorated with the flowers. Their face and hair are also made up of cherry blossoms. Space Ranger is a green alien wearing a gold cowboy outfit. There's an orange planet with rings on their golden cowboy hat.

What The New Masked Singer Season 13 Characters Mean For The Show

There Are So Many Creative Costumes

In addition to the seven officially announced Masked Singer season 13 characters, many others were seen in the preview and/or the key art for the season. They include the Loch Ness Monster, a muffin man, a dog with sunglasses, and a furry pink creature, among others. The costumes are so creative and beautiful, and they just keep getting better year after year.

The show has also revealed that another character, Lucky Duck, will mischievously be revealing clues throughout the season. Lucky Duck is reminiscent of Donnie Wahlberg's Masked Singer season 5 character, Cluedle Doo, who appeared throughout the season revealing clues about the contestants. When he was unmasked, he shocked everyone, especially his wife, Jenny, who had no idea that he was Cluedle Doo. Lucky Duck will also be unmasked at the end of the season, and he'll have a special connection to someone on The Masked Singer as well.

Cherry Blossom & Space Ranger's Costumes Could Be Clues

Besides being really awesome-looking costumes, The Masked Singer season 13's Cherry Blossom and Space Ranger characters could be clues about who's hiding behind the masks. In The Masked Singer season 12, the costumes had clues hidden in them, including Kobie Turner's ram symbol on his Goo costume, that referenced his NFL team, the Los Angeles Rams, and Bronson Arroyo's Sherlock Hound's red socks that referred to his time as a pitcher for the Boston Red Sox.

Cherry Blossom and Space Ranger's costumes might also be hiding clues about the singers who'll be wearing them. Perhaps Cherry Blossom is from Washington, D.C., where cherry blossoms famously bloom every year. Maybe Space Ranger is a sci-fi star. The possibilities are very intriguing. Whoever they turn out to be, The Masked Singer season 13 characters are some of the most phenomenal in the show's history.

The Masked Singer season 13 premieres on Wednesday, February 12 at 8 p.m. EST on FOX.
