The Masked Singer season 13 will feature 15 brand-new characters competing for the Golden Mask trophy. They include Ant, Bat, Boogie Woogie, Cherry Blossom, Coral, Fuzzy Peas, Griffin, Honey Pot, Nessy, Paparazzo, Pearl, Space Ranger, Stud Muffin, and Yorkie. The final Masked Singer costume has not yet been revealed. The Masked Singer season 13 will also welcome back host Nick Cannon, along with panelists Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, and Rita Ora.
The four remaining Masked Singer season 13 Group A contestants will perform Shrek-inspired songs.
According to The Futon Critic, Shrek Night will feature songs from or inspired by the Shrek movie franchise, in honor of the 30th anniversary of the DreamWorks animation studio, which produced the classic animated films. The unexpected twist is that the show has never allowed contestants to choose songs that were merely inspired by the theme before. The show will open with Nick, Robin, Jenny, Ken, and Rita performing a hilarious rendition of Smashmouth's "Rockstar." Then the four remaining Masked Singer season 13 Group A contestants will perform the songs "Accidentally In Love," "Hallelujah," "I'm A Believer," and "Wide Awake."

Shrek Night Will Be A Magical Experience
It's so much fun that The Masked Singer is bringing the magic of Shrek to the show. Nick and the panelists' performance of "Rockstar" is certain to be a barrel of laughs, as all of them will surely ham up their performances, as they've done in the past. It's always thrilling to see them dressed in costumes, and Shrek Night will be especially entertaining. A Masked Singer first look video (shared via YouTube) revealed that Ken will be dressed as Lord Farquaad, and that Shrek himself will make an appearance.
The Masked Singer season 13 competitors' songs range from the emotional ballads "Hallelujah" and "Wide Awake" to the bouncy bops "Accidentally In Love" and "I'm A Believer." Interestingly, "Wide Awake" is not from any of the Shrek films, hence the "inspired by" part of the theme's description. There will be a good balance of songs on The Masked Singer that will showcase the strengths of each of the contestants.
