Since the movie's four main characters come from the real world and are attempting to get back, it actually makes sense that a Minecraft villager could make the journey also, and the trailer depicts that in the funniest way possible.

The trailer for A Minecraft Movie shows the nitwit stumbling around in the real world before getting hit by a car and interacting with the driver. While this clip is not a massive spoiler for what's to come, it does hint at a very fun subplot. Since the main characters are able to interact with the world around them in the Overworld, presumably the Minecraft villager will be able to do the same, though it stands to reason that the villager may create even more chaos.
