These Fantastic Four Popcorn Buckets Are So Good I'll Be Furious If They Don't Get Made

New MCU art imagines what the popcorn buckets for The Fantastic Four: First Steps could look like, and they're so good, they deserve to actually be made. The first teaser trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps released on February 4, raising anticipation for one of Marvel Studios' most exciting upcoming movies. Scheduled to be released on July 25, 2025, The Fantastic Four: First Steps will reboot Marvel's First Family for the MCU, and is gearing up to be one of Marvel's most entertaining theater-going experiences ever.

Marvel Studios' marketing of The Fantastic Four: First Steps has only just begun, and with several months until the Phase 6 movie's premiere, there is still plenty of time for new trailers, character posters, press tours and, of course, the reveal of the movie's very own popcorn buckets. 2024 marked the emergence of this unusual new trend, which saw movies such as Dune: Part Two, Deadpool & Wolverine and Wicked, among many others, produce branded, collectible popcorn buckets for theater-goers. Bosslogic has now shared what The Fantastic Four: First Steps' popcorn buckets could look like, and they're incredible.

Bosslogic's Fantastic Four Popcorn Buckets Are Incredible

Fantastic Four's Popcorn Buckets Perfectly Mirror The Titular Team

Bosslogic shared four mock-ups of possible popcorn buckets that could accompany the release of The Fantastic Four: First Steps, each mirroring the power-set of each of the Fantastic Four's members. One depicts Reed Richards' elastic arm stretching around the popcorn, with his hand providing a fun drink holder, while another acts as an optical illusion, with the color of the bucket fading into invisibility just like Sue Storm. Johnny Storm's fire-based powers are reflected in a bucket shaped like a fire warning box, while the Thing's hand holds a hat full of popcorn, mirroring Ben Grimm's transformation.

The powers of the Fantastic Four are instantly recognizable, so it was a very clever choice to have these form the structures of Bosslogic's popcorn buckets. The team's abilities have been put on display in interesting ways, culminating in the design of entertaining and hilarious buckets that would continue the strange 2024 trend in the best way. Far removed from Wolverine's gaping mouth or the possible shield bucket for Captain America: Brave New World's upcoming release, The Fantastic Four: First Steps could capitalize on the extraordinary gifts of Marvel's First Family.

Marvel (Or Anyone Really) Needs To Make These Popcorn Buckets For Real

Marvel Will Likely Create Popcorn Buckets For The Fantastic Four: First Steps

Since there is still half a year before The Fantastic Four: First Steps' release, it's unclear what tricks Marvel Studios has up its sleeve for the movie's marketing. It's possible that, by July, branded popcorn buckets will have fallen out of fashion, though it seems likely that this trend will continue for some time, as it provides studios with another chance at creatively advertising their projects. This means that something along the lines of Bosslogic's popcorn buckets for The Fantastic Four: First Steps could be produced, which would be amazing.

Even if Marvel Studios decides not to make these popcorn buckets ahead of the premiere of The Fantastic Four: First Steps, somebody else should. A great deal of ingenuity and creativity went into designing these bucket mock-ups, and they deserve to become reality. If the trend is still ongoing when The Fantastic Four: First Steps hits theaters, Marvel should definitely utilize the Fantastic Four's well-known superpowers in the designs, as this creates clear connections to the movie, and would only help to raise anticipation for the MCU reboot.
