New Hampshire Department of Fish and Game conservation officers and the state National Guard rescued two hikers lost in the White Mountains by helicopter last Sunday. The two, both Cambridge residents, became lost and stranded in deep snow in the Dry River drainage and activated a personal locator beacon to request rescue.
