Two New Hero Skins Have Hit Marvel Rivals, & Fans Will Be Excited To See These Characters Highlighted
Mantis and Doctor Strange have received two new hero skins in Marvel Rivals, and they are following the same Immortal Dragon theme we saw with Squirrel Girl and Moon Knight just a few days ago. While the developers have given several heroes skins since launch, fans can't seem to get enough of them. With more to come, assuming a few will be launched alongside The Thing and The Human Torch in the coming weeks, there are plenty more costumes to look forward to.
When logging into the game's title screen, players will be greeted with a new announcement as well as an exclamation point above the in-game shop. Clicking on either one of the sections will bring fans to the shop to take a look at the brand-new scaley skins introduced earlier this morning.
Mantis & Dr. Strange Get New Hero Costumes In Marvel Rivals
By The Eye Of Agamotto
While both Doctor Strange and Mantis received skins in the previous season, as well as having quite a few at launch, fans will be thrilled to see them highlighted once again. Mantis has one of the highest competitive match win rates in the game currently, while Doctor Strange is easily one of the more popular tanks in Marvel Rivals that fans love to play and portal around the map with.
While the two characters can be fan favorites, players do still struggle with not enough teammates wanting to run tank, as well as too many wanting to test the waters with Susan Storm. Invisible Woman was brought to Rivals at the start of season one, as well as Mister Fantastic. The rest of The Fantastic Four will be introduced within the second half of the season down the line.
More Content Is Coming, And It's Coming Soon To Marvel Rivals
Season One Has Just Begun, But More Surprises Are Coming
Season one, also known as Eternal Night Falls, just began in Marvel Rivals, bringing a new massive battlepass, events, missions, and even a new map to traverse. More so, a new arcade game mode all about taking portals and blasting the opposition to bits was introduced, known as Doom Match.
In just a short period of time, NetEase has brought more content than fans thought possible, proving this really could be the "Overwatch killer" it was deemed to be at the start. With teases at more heroes being added to the roster, a few heroes confirmed to be coming soon, and how vast the Marvel universe is as a whole, there is plenty for fans to get excited about. Marvel Rivals has become extremely popular since its launch just over a month ago, and it will be interesting to see what comes next.
