No tent, no problem: This summer, five Vermont state parks (which ones are TBD) will offer free rental gear in a new program by the parks and Burlington’s Outdoor Gear Exchange store. Brands like Kelty, Black Diamond, Jetboil, and Mountainsmith have provided gear like tents, sleeping pads, and stoves. The program is an effort to attract new campers who might not have outfitted themselves with gear yet.
