Vishay Intertechnology, Inc., introduced a new series of thick film chip resistors for automotive and industrial applications. Vishay Draloric RCA-HP e3 series devices combine advanced sulfur resistance, excellent pulse load performance, and high power ratings in a single device.

For high sulfur environments, the AEC-Q200 qualified resistors released today feature a construction that provides a sulfur withstand ability in accordance with ASTM B809‑95, tested at an advanced level of 90 °C for 1,000 hours. The robust devices withstand high and repetitive pulses and provide power ratings to 1.5 W.

RCA-HP e3 series resistors are available in eight case sizes ranging from 0402 to 2512. The devices offer a resistance range from 1 Ω up to 1 MΩ with tolerances of ± 1 % and ± 5 %, TCR of ± 100 ppm/K and ± 200 ppm/K, and an operating voltage range from 50 V to 500 V.

RoHS-compliant and halogen-free, the resistors feature single-sided (0402) or double-sided (0603 through 2512) printed resistor elements with a protective coating. The devices offer pure tin plating, which provides compatibility with lead (Pb)-free and lead-containing soldering processes.

FEATURES:
• Superior resistance against sulfur containing atmosphere, according to ASTM B809-95
• Excellent pulse load capability
• Enhanced power rating
• Double sided printed resistor element
• AEC-Q200 qualified

APPLICATIONS:
• Automotive
• Industrial
• Commercia
