Parts of the Tonto, Coronado, and Prescott National Forests will waive fees for National Get Outdoors Day, June 9.

As if you needed an excuse to hit up Arizona national forests this weekend: Many fee sites in the Tonto,Coronado, and Prescott National Forests will be free to celebrate National Get Outdoors Day. Fee-free spots include multiple sites along Salt River, Roosevelt Lake, Canyon Lake, and Verde River, plus Lynx Lake, Granite Butte, and Thumb Butte.
