Hello, Denver trekkers!

You’ll be happy hikers this weekend with super-sunny skies and toasty temps in the 80s around the greater Denver area. The Front Range is your oyster this weekend with good weather on Saturday almost anywhere you go.

Snow is melting quickly in the high country, and many 14ers are accessible already, though still with snowy patches. Head to the “banana belt” near Buena Vista and Salida to get drier trails on 14ers like Mount Princeton. Pack your tent for weekend trips here, too, or head to to one of the many National Trails Day events. Trail restoration projects are happening along the Front Range from Genesee Park to Loveland.

Wherever you end up, enjoy hiking in the summer sun!
