What Time Yellowjackets Season 3's First 2 Episodes Release On Paramount+ & Showtime

After over a year and a half since the previous installment came to an end, Yellowjackets season 3 is set to release its first two episodes on Paramount+ and Showtime. The end of Yellowjackets season 2 featured a shocking event in both timelines, with Natalie's death in the present timeline and the survivors' cabin burning down in the middle of winter during the '90s timeline. Then came nearly 21 months of torture for fans, waiting to see what happened to the teens and their adult counterparts.

Aside from a few new faces, Yellowjackets' cast remains mostly the same for season 3. The '90s timeline will continue to show the characters in full-on survival mode as they deal with mysterious aspects of the "Wilderness." Meanwhile, the other half ofYellowjackets season 3's story will follow the fallout of Natalie's death, as Shauna, Misty, Lottie, Taissa, and Van continue to deal with their past, albeit all very differently.

Fans who have been patiently waiting for Yellowjackets' return are getting a special Valentine's Day gift this year. Despite being a Showtime original series, Yellowjackets season 3, episodes 1 and 2, are coming to Paramount+ at 3 AM ET/12 AM PT on Friday, February 14th, 2025. Following the super-sized premiere consisting of two episodes, Yellowjackets will go to a traditional weekly release.

That said, it's important to note that Yellowjackets season 3 is only available to premium subscribers who have Paramount+ with Showtime plan, which is currently $12.99 a month or $119.99 for an entire year. Granted, it allows subscribers to watch new episodes two days before they air on Showtime. The Showtime version of Paramount+ also includes access to the past two seasons of Yellowjackets for those looking to catch up ahead of season 3.

There are benefits to streaming Yellowjackets on Paramount+, but that's not the only way to watch the upcoming season. Yellowjackets season 3 will air new episodes on Sunday nights at 8 PM ET starting Sunday, February 16th, 2025. The first week will feature back-to-back episodes, with each coming in at around an hour each.

Whereas last season came in at nine episodes, Yellowjackets season 3 has 10 episodes total, returning to the debut season's episode count. Based on that number, Yellowjackets season 3's finale will be released on April 11th, barring any surprises. Here's Yellowjackets season 3's current release schedule:

Interestingly, there's still the possibility of Yellowjackets' bonus episode, which was thought to be released between seasons 2 and 3. The bonus would have technically brought season 2's total to 10 episodes, however, it was seemingly delayed. Though Yellowjackets' co-creator Ashley Lyle has confirmed that the bonus episode exists, it's still unclear when it will be released and how it will affect season 3's release plans.
