Details: Come join us to hike Hedgehog Mountain, one of New Hampshire’s 52 with-a-view (WAV), offering a nice view of the presidential range and Mount Washington. The hike will be below treeline, offering views from several ledges, with a total mileage of 4.8 miles and elevation gain of 1,350 feet. This hike is a good choice for beginners, where we will maintain a somewhat leisurely pace, but some previous winter hiking experience is needed. Boston Chapter AMC winter hiking program graduates and current 2017-2018 participants are encouraged to join us on this hike if they have completed several hikes in winter conditions prior to this trip. Since this hike is in the sandwich range wilderness, we will accept no more than 8 participants. Join us on this excursion for good company.
