Yikes, Juliette Can't Catch A Break In Silo Season 2

Warning: Spoilers ahead for Silo season 2, episode 8, "The Book of Quinn."Rebecca Ferguson's Juliette Nichols has spent Silo season 2 away from everything she has ever known, and she isn't having a very good time. Although she is still a major part of the Silo cast, Ferguson's role in the story's continuation is very different when compared with the show's inaugural run. By the end of Silo season 2, episode 8, "The Book of Quinn," Juliette is surely pining for the home that so cold-heartedly sent her out to clean.

Although Silo has made a few changes to the Hugh Howey novels, the adaptation has largely been very faithful to the source material. When the show debuted in 2023, it quickly became considered one of the best sci-fi shows on Apple TV+. Although the second season is drawing to a close, it has been confirmed that Silo seasons 3 and 4 have received the green light and will conclude the saga. So, there is still plenty of time for Juliette to escape the peril in which she currently finds herself.

Juliette Keeps Getting Injured Or Sick In Silo Season 2

Ferguson's character just can't stay healthy in Silo 17

Juliette has now suffered from a string of illnesses and injuries in quick succession during her time in Silo 17. Being so short on assistance during this time is one thing, but now that Steve Zahn's Solo is missing in action, she's been left to fend completely for herself. Solo's help was perhaps most prevalent while nursing Juliette back to health after a cut on her arm became infected. After that, he essentially undid all that goodwill by forcing her to repair a pump vital to Silo 17 - a mission that gave Juliette the bends.

As confirmed by Solo himself before his disappearance, the bends (AKA decompression sickness) can cause severe pain and could, in some cases, become fatal. While dealing with the discomfort of the bends, Juliette's physical well-being is made even worse by the fact she's shot in the shoulder with an arrow - the head of which appears to be lodged inside of her as she breaks off the shaft. So, as well as dealing with the new threat of Silo 17's surprise survivors, she has another potential infection to worry about.

Juliette's escape from Silo 17 looks almost impossible at this point

Juliette quickly realized after arriving at Silo 17 that she needed to return home to stop a rebellion that would kill thousands. To do that, her only objective has been to obtain a replacement suit so she can safely weather the conditions outside and make the trip home. As simple as it sounds, there have been several obstacles caused by both Silo 17's environment and its inhabitants. After being held back by Solo's demands, Juliette now has to find some way to free herself from the young survivors' grasp - which should eventually lead to an interesting Silo season 2 finale.
