Kalani Faagata and Asuelu Pulaa's sons, Oliver and Kennedy, have grown so much since their last appearance on 90 Day: The Last Resort. Kalani first met Asuelu at a resort in Samoa, where he worked. After becoming intimate for the first time, Kalani became pregnant with their first child, Oliver. This news led Kalani to apply for Asuelu's K-1 visa to move him to the United States. Despite getting married and having another child, Kennedy, the couple's relationship didn't last as Asuelu failed to be a responsible and supportive husband.
In an attempt to work through their differences, Kalani and Asuelu appeared in 90 Day: The Last Resort season 1. Throughout the season, the couple shared their challenges stemming from Asuelu's repeated infidelity, which led Kalani to develop feelings for another man, Dallas Nuez. Despite attending therapy sessions with the experts, they ultimately decided to separate and co-parent their two children. Since then, Kalani has had a third child, a daughter named Masina, with her boyfriend, Dallas. On the other hand, Asuelu is embracing his new single life while remaining a loving dad to his two sons.

Kalani and Asuelu conceived their first child sometime in April 2017 while they were together in Samoa. With God's blessing, they welcomed their first baby, son Oliver, in January 2018. Just before getting married, they found out they were pregnant with their second child.
Kalani's sister, Kolini Faagata, was devastated by the news because she had suspicions about Asuelu's true motives for coming to the United States. Despite the family drama, Kalani and Asuelu got married in September 2018 and were over the moon to welcome their second child, son Kennedy on May 7, 2019.

While Kalani received counseling at the resort with Asuelu, her sister looked after the children.

Kalani recently posted celebratory pictures of Oliver's seventh birthday on Instagram. In the pictures, he appears to be growing up quickly, with his baby facial features gradually fading away and his height increasing. The 90 Day Fiancé alum captioned the photos with, "happy Birthday to the coolest 7 year old boy, with the most loving heart." Kennedy also looked older in the photos compared to his appearance on 90 Day: The Last Resort, although he still has a round face like his father.
