Ahead of One-Punch Man's Return, Its Studio Is "Committed" to Making Season 3 Perfect
With excitement and concerns on the rise, fans eagerly await any news of One-Punch Man as it’s slotted to premiere sometime in 2025. Having originally thought that the next update wouldn’t happen until AnimeJapan 2025 where One-Punch Man is stated to showcase the premiere of the anime, J.C. Staff was faster to the punch in reassuring audiences of their dedication.
J.C. Staff is the animation studio that took over the titular adventures of Saitama for the second and third season of One-Punch Man after Madhouse. Although fans were less than excited about continuing the series given the lackluster action delivered in season 2, the studio has since buckled down and has taken their time with the production, leaving only crumbs of the anime’s update until now.
J.C. Staff Redirects Focus to One-Punch Man’s Progression
Right Before News and Premiere is Expected to Drop
In a recent update, Atsushi Fijishiro, a producer at J.C. Staff, talks about some of the ongoing projects for the year of 2025. Fans may see more news of One-Punch Man in late April as the studio's focus will shift from the romantic comedy, Can Friendship Between Men and Women Exist? (No, it Doesn't!), to One-Punch Man’s season 3. He goes on to affirm that:
Preparations for season 3 are steadily moving along. Given [One-Punch Man] is a popular title with high expectations, we’re committed to creating a season that won’t disappoint fans.
After a few years of waiting, fans might finally be getting the updates they’ve been expecting for the anime of the year in late April. But luckily, that’ll only be from J.C. Staff’s side since One-Punch Man is expected to have another appearance at AnimeJapan 2025 later this month at the Bandai Namco Booth, where a new trailer is expected to drop.
Expectations for One-Punch Man Will Only Rise
Fans Should See an Increase in Updates on the Upcoming Anime
Season 3 for One-Punch Man is expected to cover the Monster Association Arc, which means there’s going to be a renewed focus on fighting between the heroes and rising criminals. Fans widely criticized the studio before for losing the edge in making the battles more thrilling, but J.C. Staff promises that the season will renew the hype the anime once held. As the anime only grows closer to finally debuting, we can expect to see many more updates to come along with trailers showcasing the work that the studio has put up so far.

As the controversy about One-Punch Man's new redraws rises, a fan reminded readers what Murata thinks about the situation.
The next few months will become the pivotal momentum that One-Punch Man needs to restore the faith of dedicated fans. There’s not much a studio can fix in time between its official trailer and anime release, so what audiences will come to see at AnimeJapan 2025 and from J.C. Staff is going to likely be the final product at the end of the year.
