All Godlike Abilities In Avowed - 11 Secret Abilities To Make You Even Stronger

For those delving into Obsidian Entertainment's latest big RPG, Avowed, there are a huge amount of abilities for your character that you'll immediately see when you begin the game. While these may be obvious to all, there are also a total of 11 secret Godlike abilities you can unlock, each of which can drastically affect how you play your build in Avowed depending on your playstyle.

In Avowed, unlocking Godlike abilities occurs naturally as you progress through the core story. Generally, it'll be very obvious when you have the option to unlock a Godlike ability, and of course, you should opt in every time to make sure your character is as strong as possible for those more difficult enemy encounters and boss battles. If you want to know what they do and how to unlock them, you've come to the right place.

There's a Godlike ability for every type of build. I can tell you firsthand that Divine Thorn is a very strong attack in the early game, and should scale well into the late game with critical hit buffs. As for the rest, Thorn of Sapadal stands out as an excellent form of AoE crowd control, especially for Rangers. Severed Branch will be excellent in tight situations and just for general speed, and Remembrance of Sapadal is excellent for a Fighter build. Sapadal's Fury obviously isn't something you'll be using often, but when you do, your foes will certainly feel the impact.

Dream Touch, while powerful, is a bit too situational, though matters improve with the potent buff it gets when you replace it with Seeds of Vengeance. The Remembrance abilities have obvious use cases: if you're a Wizard, you want Remembrance of Enhekala, for example. Meanwhile Fighters will be tempted by Remembrance of Rembrance of Kishamal, Nimanna, and Maru; Rangers generally want Remembrance of Maru most of all, but as always, it depends on your specific build.
