"Bare Bones Budget?": I'm Sure Jasmine Pineda's Money Problems Are Worrying Her (What Happened With Her Finances?)

90 Day: The Last Resort star Jasmine Pineda has been crying about being broke despite her recent career milestones, making me curious about where all her money goes. Jasmine worked as an American Literature teacher when she was in Panama. Gino had fallen for Jasmine because she was a beauty with brains, which she was with her seven degrees and a PhD. Jasmine even claimed to be earning $3000 a month through private tutoring.

Jasmine launched her OnlyFans as soon as she stepped into the world of reality TV. I suppose she wanted to make the most of her 15 minutes of fame. Little did she know that she’d become the face of 90 Day Fiancé and star in several back-to-back spin-offs due to the dramatic nature of her relationship with Gino. However, despite her reality TV fame and her social media popularity, I have been spotting signs that show Jasmine has not been doing well financially and has a lot of money problems.

Jasmine's Worried About Money These Days

Jasmine Has Been Penny-Pinching

Jasmine started being more vocal about her money problems amid her 90 Day: The Last Resort debut. Jasmine was aware in a few weeks, she’d have to stop pretending to be still together with Gino. She began bashing him in public and calling him out for not having supported her financially during her hour of need. I watched an interview on AccessHollywood, where Jasmine claimed she didn’t even have enough money to buy necessities, and Gino never helped her get a driver’s license or an old car. She found transportation in Michigan to be expensive.

Jasmine was upset when TikTok was momentarily blocked in the U.S. Jasmine called the app her “livelihood” in an emotional update, making me wonder how bad Jasmine’s money problems were. Jasmine was living frugally, and her thrifty lifestyle was something I’d never imagined. To me, Jasmine was still the woman who wore $3000 hair extensions and spent $10,000 on getting bum implants. However, in 2025, Jasmine shops at the Dollar Store and can't afford a visit to the nail salon, so she has to buy press-on nails and cheap cosmetic items.

Jasmine's Expecting Matt Branis' Baby

Does Jasmine Not Get Money From Matt?

Jasmine’s expenses seem to have skyrocketed ever since she got pregnant. While I’m not aware of what her boyfriend does for a living, now that Jasmine has moved to Florida with him, he didn’t seem to be as well off as Gino, who openly admitted to having investments worth $650,000 or more. Gino didn’t need to worry about not having a job, and Jasmine had once called Gino a “self-made millionaire” and admitted she was proud of her man. I haven’t seen Jasmine say something like that about Matt on her social media.

Moreover, having a baby in the U.S. is expensive. With Jasmine inching closer to her due date, the bills will start to roll in and pile up. Jasmine has hinted at her baby having a possible heart condition, and costs can quickly spiral into hundreds of dollars, considering the medical care Jasmine requires. Jasmine has bragged about being successful on Cameo and OnlyFans, but she could only be doing it to show Gino that she’s better off without him. Her current lifestyle doesn’t reflect her claims of career success.

90 Day: The Last Resort’s Jasmine often praised Gino for how “generous” he was. Jasmine called him “goals” and her “tutor,” who helped her invest her money wisely. Did Jasmine use all her invested money for her to cry about being broke now? These comments were made by Jasmine in June 2022, a whole year before she moved to the U.S. and learned Gino had quit his job. Jasmine never expected Gino would ever stop treating her like a princess – it was rumored to have been a transactional relationship, after all.

90 Day: The Last Resort airs Mondays at 9 p.m. EST on TLC.
