Cal State Fullerton Undergrad Delves Into Cause of Volcanic Events

John Ayers, an undergrad at Cal State Fullerton, describes his summer adventures to Yosemite in his own words.

The thesis is titled thus: “Investigating Causes of Compositional Variation in the Half Dome Grandiorite, Tuolumne Intrusive Complex, Yosemite National Park, CA: Big or Small Magma Chambers?” And it meant that John Ayers, an undergrad at Cal State Fullerton, went to Yosemite this past summer to find the answer. He filed this report.
