Camille Parsons Is Proving To Be A Married At First Sight Season 18 Villain (Her Attitude & Actions Are Painting Her In A Bad Light)
Married at First Sight season 18 cast member Camille Parsons is appearing as a villain because of her treatment of her husband, her reaction to the season's drama, and her clout-chasing intentions. Camille married Thomas McDonald in Married at First Sight season 18. Thomas is the oldest season 18 cast member at 42 years old. Camille, 32, and Thomas had reciprocal interest and comfort with each other from the beginning. Where Camille and Thomas derailed, was when Camille, in no uncertain terms, let Thomas know that he didn't have the "swag factor."
Camille, who is used to dating more "urban" men, was having problems with attraction. MAFS season 18 has been filled with drama apart from the issues presented by Thomas and Camille. David Trimble sent a deviant text meant for Allen Slovick's wife, Madison Myers, to his wife, Michelle Tomblin, instead, and that has sparked a world of controversy. David and Madison finally fessed up to their secret relationship, and plan to dump their spouses and continue their connection. In the wild mix, however, Camille is also standing out as a season 18 villain.
Camille Has Been Demeaning Thomas All Season
Camille Is Trying To Change Thomas
Camille has not been demure or eloquent in her constant criticisms of Thomas, and she's even hurt his feelings because of it. She's also calculatedly sowed doubt in Thomas' mind about the outcome of their marriage. Thomas is an amenable man, and he has endeavored to please Camille by wearing icy earrings and coordinating his clothes differently, but Camille has been unappreciative. What's more, Married at First Sight fans found out that Thomas has been giving Camille oral sex, and she has not been reciprocating.
Not only is Camille not trying to understand and value Thomas for who he is, but she is also not going out of her way to please him. Her actions on the show (via @mafsfan) are painting her in a bad light. Their relationship seems very one-sided, with Camille prompting too much change in Thomas. MAFS fans love Thomas and want to protect him, which is why Camille has been facing backlash for her treatment of Thomas.
Camille Hasn't Spoken Up On The Right Side Of The Season 18 Drama
Camille Doesn't Voice Her Opinions The Right Way
Another fiery MAFS season 18 situation arose between Ikechi Ojoré and his now-ex-wife, Emem Obot. Ikechi was verbally putting down Emem in front of the season 18 group and has displayed a huge attitude towards Emem all season long. Instead of speaking up for Emem against Ikechi at the group dinner, Camille validated Emem's feelings privately. Emem did not have enough support on her side at the time of the showdown, and Camille could have been a better friend and demonstrated compatriotism by voicing to Ikechi that he was in the wrong.
Camille wants to be on the gossipy side of drama, and doesn't have the personality to stick up for her beliefs or people when it counts. She appears to only have the capacity to speak up when it's chastising Thomas. With more situations set to arise for Camille to speak up for what's right, she can right her wrongs. However, previews of the season don't show Camille as being the one to support her cast mates.
Camille Didn't Stick Up For Michelle
Michelle Felt Alone
Camille showed her complacency again when Michelle was speaking up for herself at the group retreat dinner. Michelle was calling out David for cheating on her and endeavoring to insinuate Madison had something to do with it. Instead of giving Michelle a safe place to talk and trying to make her feel heard, Camille, and the rest of the group, tried to mitigate Michelle's feelings.
However, Camille wanted to be filled in on the drama and the cheating confrontations' aftermath, showcasing that Camille is not a forthright person.
Camille hasn't been good to her husband, done right by her cast mates, or demonstrated that she's self-aware regarding how she is coming off. While Married at First Sight fans want to see Camille and Thomas succeed, Camille is making it hard for viewers to get behind her approach towards getting comfortable in her marriage.
