Olympic National Park officials reported that a 21-year-old Oregon man suffered fatal injuries after falling 20 to 30 feet last Friday while hiking down Mt. Storm King. His hiking partner, who reported the fall, used ropes to descend from the summit; the victim took a different path, scrambling off-trail through a rocky area.
