Cook County Forest Preserve Officer Patrick Connor quit the force the night before his scheduled disciplinary hearing on Thursday. Connor was being investigated for his role in a racially charged harassment incident at Caldwell Woods: A woman’s viral video showed Connor doing nothing while a drunk man harasses her about the Puerto Rican flag T-shirt she’s wearing.
