A Portland Press-Herald story says that Maine has been slow to catch on to the glamping trend, but offerings are now increasing fast: yurt compounds, safari tents, treehouses, private chefs, and camping resorts. Tentrr, a startup that connects private landowners to people who want to camp on scenic land, plans to have up to 50 sites in Maine by the end of the year.
