The trailer for Grosse Pointe Garden Society focuses on four friends who have to keep a dark secret. Debuting on NBC soon from writers Jenna Bans and Bill Krebs, the upcoming drama centers on four members of a suburban garden club who are connected thanks to a murder they have to keep hidden. But the dark truth soon begins to emerge, threatening the lives that they've built for themselves. The cast is led by Melissa Fumero (Brooklyn Nine-Nine), Aja Naomi King (How to Get Away with Murder), Ben Rappaport (Mr. Robot), and AnnaSophia Robb (The Carrie Diaries).
The teaser trailer for Grosse Pointe Garden Society has been released, ahead of the show's debut on NBC on Sunday, February 23 at 10 PM ET. The teaser runs for roughly a minute, highlighting that the four friends have a lot of secrets to hide even beyond murder. The Main Characters Are A Mess
The opening narration of the trailer begins with “To make a garden grow, something has to die." From there, the three characters — Brett (Rappaport), Birdie (Robb), and Catherine (King) — are seen digging a grave. There’s also something that looks suspiciously like a dead body. The teaser then introduces the characters, demonstrating that they have each other’s backs. They have a lot to cover for, however, with Catherine potentially engaging in an illicit romance and Alice (Fumero) having an obvious drinking problem.
As the teaser moves to its conclusion, the group becomes more concerned that their secret is going to be exposed, and they start to spiral. If there is one thing that the foursome can agree on, or at least they think they can, it’s that no one should be talking about their secret. It doesn’t seem like that rule is kept, though.
The cast of Grosse Pointe Garden Society also includes Alexander Hodge, Nancy Travis, Matthew Davis, and Felix Wolfe.

There's Desperate Housewives Energy
Hailing from Universal Television, with Bans and Krebs as co-showrunners and executive producers, Grosse Pointe Garden Society seems like the perfect new show to watch if you're missing Desperate Housewives. The co-showrunners previously worked on the crime dramedy Good Girls, but the biggest draw may just be the talented and familiar cast.
