Honkai Star Rail 3.1 Livestream: Date, Time, Characters, Banners, & What To Expect

The Honkai: Star Rail 3.1 livestream is arriving, and its date and time should be revealed soon, allowing players to know when they will be able to see the planned content for the turn-based RPG’s next update, including new characters, banners, story updates, maps, and more. Version 3.0, released in mid-January, started the game’s third year of content and took players to Amphoreus, a mysterious new destination. So far, players have progressed a bit into The Eternal Land’s campaign and met some of the Amphoreus characters in Honkai: Star Rail, one of which became available as a playable unit, Aglaea.

However, there are more characters to be released, many of which have already been presented as NPCs. HoYoverse has confirmed that Mydei and Tribbie will be the next playable characters and their kits should be described during the Version 3.1 livestream. During the Version 3.0 special event, the developer confirmed that Amphoreus story quests will extend from Version 3.0 through Version 3.7, so players can expect a new batch of campaign missions in Version 3.1, which will also be described during the event. Aside from that, there should be much more in store for the Honkai: Star Rail 3.1 livestream.

The Event May Occur Following The Previous Schedule

Based on how livestreams tend to occur, it’s possible to speculate when the Version 3.1 livestream will be held. Normally, livestreams happen two weeks before the arrival of the patch itself, on Fridays – the exception being the Version 3.0 livestream, which was held on a Wednesday to coincide with 2025’s first day. Because patches last six weeks, Version 3.1 is set to arrive on February 26 and, with it, the most likely date for the Honkai: Star Rail 3.1 livestream is February 14. These livestreams usually occur in the morning, at around 6:30 am ET.

It’s worth noting that this date and time are based solely on the developer’s usual behavior and have yet to be confirmed. Confirmation of an official date and time for the Version 3.1 livestream should occur through posts on official social media profiles on the week of the event, a few days before it occurs. The Version 3.1 livestream will likely be broadcast simultaneously on Honkai: Star Rail’s official channels on YouTube and Twitch. Until official confirmation, however, all of this information is subject to changes and postponements of the regular schedule.

What To Expect From Honkai: Star Rail 3.1 Livestream - New Characters & Leaked Banners

Two New Characters Are Confirmed For The Update

As was mentioned, HoYoverse has already confirmed that Tribbie and Mydei will be the two new playable characters arriving with Version 3.1 – this confirmation came in the form of drip marketing for the characters. Tribbie is confirmed to be a 5-star Quantum character following the Path of the Harmony, which would indicate that she is a support unit in team comps. However, the leaks about Tribbie’s kit in Honkai: Star Rail 3.1 show that she may be much more than that. According to the leaks, Tribbie will be able to grant all allies All-Elemental RES PEN through her Skill.

Furthermore, the leaks say that Tribbie’s Ultimate creates a barrier and, while it is active and when enemies are attacked, the opponent with the highest HP takes Additional DMG. The barrier also deals Quantum DMG to enemies. Tribbie’s offensive abilities allegedly scale off of her Max HP. Her leaked Talent is said to see her execute a follow-up attack when an ally uses their Ultimate. The largest portion of her kit does, indeed, seem to revolve around supporting abilities, but she may contribute as a sub-DPS if players collect Tribbie’s materials in Honkai: Star Rail and unlock all her abilities.

This is because of one of her passives. According to the leaks, Tribbie has a passive that increases her Max HP by a portion of the sum of the Max HP of her allies. Seeing that Max HP dictates the power of her Additional DMG and follow-up attacks, if she is paired up with allies with large Max HPs, she could significantly contribute to the team’s damage output. As such, it seems like Tribbie could be an aggressive support that works with characters like Fu Xuan and Blade in Honkai: Star Rail, both of which have large Max HP pools.

Mydei, on the other hand, is confirmed to be a 5-star Imaginary character following the Path of the Destruction. This leads to the understanding that he is a main DPS unit with self-sustaining capabilities, as most of the characters who follow this Path. According to the leaks about Mydei’s kit in Honkai: Star Rail 3.1, the Chrysos Heir’s specialty is consuming his own HP to deal increased damage to enemies based on his Max HP. The character can enter the Vendetta state, which pushes his damage even further and can taunt enemies to instigate more HP loss, which is tracked.

The leaks also say that, if Mydei receives fatal damage while in the Vendetta state, he survives it, restores 50% of his Max HP, and exits Vendetta.

As seen in the leaks, Mydei can also increase his own Max HP during combat, which should result in even more damage output thanks to his abilities that scale off of the stat. Overall, it seems like Mydei and Tribbie may even operate well with one another, as Tribbie can provide buffs to Mydei, while Mydei’s large Max HP can help Tribbie deal more damage to opponents. The details about their kits should be described by HoYoverse during the Honkai: Star Rail 3.1, either confirming or debunking the rumors.

For now, the leaks about the banner structure in Version 3.1 have been somewhat absent, but there is a questionable leak that was shared in a post on Reddit that indicates that Tribbie will debut in Phase 1 banners alongside reruns for Seele, Jiaoqiu, and Yunli, while Mydei is set to debut in Phase 2 banners with reruns for Luocha, Blade, and Sparkle in Honkai: Star Rail. This is still highly subject to change, but if it’s true, it should be confirmed during the Version 3.1 livestream.

What To Expect From Honkai: Star Rail 3.1 Livestream - Amphoreus Updates, Story Quests, Events, & More

The Game Will Continue To Explore Amphoreus

While a portion of the crisis in Amphoreus has been resolved in the story quests in Version 3.0, there are still many threats plaguing the existence of The Eternal Land, and a new set of quests will likely be added in Version 3.1, further exploring the Trailblazer’s adventure. There haven’t been too many reliable leaks about what is to occur, but it seems like these new quests will also be accompanied by new maps for players to explore. The missions should be teased, and the maps will be confirmed by HoYoverse if the Version 3.1 leaks are true.

Version 3.1 will also have events to keep players engaged after the conclusion of the new quests, including events called The Awooo Firm and Holy City Appraisals. These events have been mentioned in the Honkai: Star Rail 3.1 Stellar Jade count. One of these events is rumored to offer players a free 4-star character. The update will also bring forth a new update to the Divergent Universe.

There haven’t been many reliable leaks about quality-of-life updates in Version 3.1, but if there are any planned, HoYoverse will likely showcase them during the livestream, too. Overall, it seems like players will have their hands full during the turn-based RPG’s next update as they continue to explore and understand Amphoreus. If the leaks are accurate, Honkai: Star Rail may be heading into its strongest year so far.
