Ridley Scott’s 1991 Oscar Nominated Movie With 86% RT Score Is Leaving Streaming Soon
Ridley Scott is one of the most accomplished directors of his generation. Late last year, Gladiator II pushed him past a notable career milestone, putting him among the top 10 highest-grossing directors of all time. With his movies getting a lifetime gross of over $5 billion, Scott is now the no. 9 highest-grossing director at the worldwide box office, just ahead of Tim Burton. He is best known for his sci-fi work, originating the Alien series and directing the acclaimed Matt Damon movie The Martian, which is his highest-grossing film.
Part of what is fascinating about Scott's filmography, however, is the range he has in his career. As much as his career has been defined by sci-fi, he has also made a not insignificant contribution to the historical drama genre, including his most recent two films (Gladiator II and Napoleon). He also has several career outliers, however, that are outside his usual epic work. This includes films like All the Money in the World and House of Gucci. Now, one of Scott's more atypical career works has gotten some disappointing streaming news.
