A recent report by the Colorado Fourteeners Initiative made official what many peak-baggers may have already gathered: Colorado’s highest mountaintops are getting busier. Last year, 14ers saw 311,000 hiker-use days (one person hiking one peak on one day). Mount Elbert was the most-climbed (29,000), with Grays and Torreys clocked in at 20–25,000 and Longs at 7–10,000.
