There’s no better way to celebrate a holiday weekend by getting outside, and the National Park Service is on board with its last fee-free weekend of the year for Veterans Day on November 11 and 12. Visit Rocky Mountain, Black Canyon of the Gunnison, Mesa Verde, and Great Sand Dunes National Parks and Colorado, Florissant Fossil Beds, and Dinosaur National Monuments for free.
